Nestled in the heart of the Severn Valley, the Royal Forester Country Inn is a charming, historical retreat that steals the heart with its rustic allure. The bright décor and cozy ambiance make it a delightful spot for anyone looking to escape the hustle of daily life and immerse themselves in the lush landscapes of Worcestershire. Our stay was made even more memorable by the wonderful staff, whose friendliness and attentiveness truly set this inn apart. While the room was beautifully decorated and the en suite bathroom offered a lovely power shower, we did notice a few areas needing attention-specifically, the mattress, which sadly detracted from our comfort at night. Regardless, the relaxing setting and delicious food in the restaurant, inspired by local and fresh produce, brought us immense joy. Breakfast and dinner options included a selection of vegetarian delights, and the culinary revival at this establishment really shines through. We appreciated that the Royal Forester is located minutes away from the West Midland Safari Park, making it a fantastic base for family adventures amidst nature. I can't recommend this inn enough for those seeking a warm, inviting atmosphere along with stunning surroundings. With its history, design, and the essence of community, I will certainly return for another cozy retreat.
